햄스테드 아트스쿨은 헨리 무어, 코테슬로 오스왈드 밀른 경, 케네스 클락 경의 후원으로 1946년에 설립되었습니다.

아트스쿨은 아름다운 경관을 자랑하는 런던의 햄스테드 히스 근처에 있으며, 현역 예술가들의 폭넓은 예술 과목 수업을 통해 다양한 예술 활동과 기회를 제공하고 있습니다.

본 아트스쿨은 존 컨스터블, 루시안 프로이드 바바라 헵워스를 비롯한 햄스테드에서 살고 일했던 많은 이들의 발자취를 따라, 이 지역의 생기 넘치는 문화적·예술적 전통을 이어가고 있습니다.

현재 순수예술 분야에서 1년의 기초과정과 3년의 심화과정이 개설되어 있으며, 미술과 디자인에서는 ‘모든 사람 안에 있는 예술성을 이끌어내는(Unleashing the Artist in Everyone)’ 훌륭한 주간 코스가 마련되어 있습니다.

Hampstead School of Art was founded in 1946 with the patronage of Henry Moore, Lord Cottesloe Oswald Milne and Sir Kenneth Clark. The art school provides artistic activity, opportunity and tuition in a wide range of art subjects by practising artists. Located in a beautiful part of London close to Hampstead Heath
HSoA is steeped in the vibrant cultural and artistic tradition of the area following in the footsteps of John Constable, Lucian Freud Barbara Hepworth and many others who have lived and worked in Hampstead.
Today the art school offers a 1 year Foundation Course, 3 year Advanced course in Fine Art and excellent weekly courses in art and design, Unleashing the Artist in Everyone.
